TV Commercial Production: Build Your Own TV Spot

The Basic Premise:

We wanted to give small businesses a way to have a very professional TV commercial at a bargain price.
It takes a lot of work to create a good TV spot. There is original creative, dynamic graphics, digital effects, music, professional voiceover, professional shot scenes, and 3D animation. Putting all of this together is expensive at normal rates.

There are some sites that let you put your company’s name at the end of their pre-done TV spots, but it just looks like a national TV spot with a local tag. We wanted to give you an opportunity to have a TV commercial that looks like it was produced especially for you - with your phone number and your information throughout the spot - emphasizing more of your important message.

How We Do It:

We have been working for months to create “templates” - pre-built files created specifically to be customized. You can change all of the narration if you like, not just the end. In most you can upload your own logo. In many you can upload your own pictures. The idea is to create spots that are easy for you to change and make your own.

How It Works:

You can do it in one of two ways. The easiest is to just modify one of our existing spots and make it your own. You simply go to the “Make A TV Spot Your Own” page, watch the demos, pick one, and then go to that page. There’s a convenient form there - just fill it out with your own information. You’ll see the pricing at the top of the page. You’ll notice there is pricing for a “web version” and a “broadcast version”. You can order the spot in a “web version” first so you can get it at a very low cost in Flash format for use on the web. The web price will be used toward the price of the broadcast version when you buy it. Or you can just buy the broadcast version - we’ll include the Flash version, too. The price also includes electronic delivery in MPEG2 4:2:2 to a TV or cable station of your choice.

You can also build a spot from scratch. Just go to our Build Your Own TV Spot page. You can begin the spot with one of our Dynamic Intros, or just use one of our Master Templates. You write the script, upload the pictures, and we’ll cook up a spot.

Your spot is not just automatically created by a computer somewhere. A professional editor - me or one of my associates - creates your spot, modifying it to work with the template and making sure the audio is right, the technical specs are correct, etc. The pricing is determined by the amount of work we have to put into the template to get it right.
